Emma's Birthday!!

In September we went up to celebrate
Emma's 3rd birthday!!
She had her first big girl birthday party.
Make a wish...

Woody doesn't understand why none of the many
presents are for him!?!?

In protest he decided to just hang out
on top of the safety net. Please note that
children are not allowed to climb up onto the net.
But what do you expect, he is Chrissy's child...

It just so happened that the day of
Emma's birthday party was also Baba's birthday.
What better way to spend your birthday so Baba
joined in on the fun...

Not a baby anymore!!

Who's calling you now to wish you a happy birthday...

I can't believe Emma is already three...

Emma is doing her own version of the moon walk...

Even though it was her birthday party,
Emma had to take a minute to update her facebook status.
After all, she is three years old now...kids these days!!!

Talented kids...

Mama and Emma had fun trading silly bands.
I think Emma got the most...

Woody on the other hand wasn't interested in
any silly bands, he just wanted to be silly period!!
That's one way of eating corn...

Emma must take after her Thea Alexis with
those good photography skills...

And Woody is sticking to his musical abilities.
We all know he is very musically talented but who knew
he had a little punk rocker in him...

More fun with Emma...

Emma took a break from playing to take a picture
with her Thea Alexis...

Woody was very curious about blue spinning light
we gave him. Knowing Woody he is trying to figure out
how it works...

Even Socrates came up for Emma's birthday...

One last picture of Emma on her 3rd birthday and
yes little boy in the background Emma is very beautiful...

Historic Charleston

What a nice family picture...

I just love this picture of Maria peaking over the
fence to take a look at the beautiful house and garden...

Yes, the first shots of the Civil War were shot right
here in Charleston.

This picture was take by my father thus why it is
a little cropped off but it was taken outside of our
Greek Orthodox church. The lamp posts have a
lot of meaning to our family. I spent many hours
standing at this lamp post playing with my cousins
and I still do. See...

Historic Moments

LONG LIVE GREECE!!!
Of course we always love to show some Greek pride...

I had so much fun spending time with
my beautiful, sweet cousins!

As most people know Charleston is one of the oldest cities in
America and it is filled with so much history.
Our cousins learned a lot of important facts
during their visit here, just take a look...

I miss you!!!

How time flies!!

I hope everyone is doing well. It has been
awhile since I last posted pictures on the blog.
I am so behind!! It was a very fun and busy summer.
We had our family from Greece come for visits and
my cousin Becca came to spend sometime with us
as well this summer. We had a wonderful time.
I will just start from the most recent visit and work
my way back. Here goes...

****
My cousin Victoria is starting her second year in the
doctorate program at the University of Maryland.
Her family came to see what life is like
for her here in America. While they were here
they came to Charleston for a visit.

Natalia had fun playing in the sand.
Long Live Greece!!

Kallirroi got to walk in the Atlantic Ocean.
It is not nearly as beautiful as the Mediterranean sea
but it is the best we have!

It didn't take long for Kallirroi to become
a 'Carolina Girl' with her palmetto shirt on...

I think that was a jump for joy!!

It's all Greek to me!!

We had a lot of catching up to do.

I had so much fun practicing my Greek while we talked.
They all speak English so well...I wish I could
speak better Greek to them but I am trying!!

Victoria looked so beautiful in her dress!

Kallirroi is truly a gorgeous Greek goddess!!
