Playtime...

It was so nice to see all three of the babies play and spend time
together. It reminded me of when I was little playing
with my brother and two cousins.

Goodnight...

It was a full Thanksgiving weekend. By the end of it, Woody
had fallen asleep in my arms and I was in heaven!!

Emma was ready to go because the fun was over.

Collin was so tired he had to put his head down
and take a quick nap on the chair.

After four days of everyone being sick, Thea was starting to feel better!!

Father Nicholas Trivelas

This past Sunday was the forty day memorial
of the passing of Father Trivelas.
He was one of the greatest human beings I have
and will ever know. I miss him very much.

His family has started a website to honor his wonderful life.
www.fathernicholasctrivelas.com
What I love about the site is that you hear Father Trivelas
singing. He had a voice that came from heaven. It was
truly like an angel singing.

There is Hope...

Election Day!! Mama and I went out in the rain to go vote.
We were lucky that the line wasn't to long, but we would have
waited for hours if we had to for the possibility of
a change in our country!!

This is what Mama looked like after they told her
that she would be voting electronically, using a computer!!
I guess her request for a paper ballot got lost.

What a historical election and I got to vote in it!

Mama and I went to the Democratic Rally in Charleston
on election night to celebrate with friends. It was a wonderful
night. You could feel the hope in the room.

A Furry Affair!!

Every year the Charleston Animal Society has a big fundraiser
to help all the homeless animals in the area. They refer to it
as "A Furry Affair" and this year it was held at the newly renovated
Memminger Auditorium...

Since I am doing a little photography, I thought it would be
nice to donate a piece of my work to their great cause. The photograph
is one I took of the Morris Island Lighthouse.

We all went to the event- which include a gala auction, food,
drinks, lots of people and fun!!

It really was an affair to remember...A Furry Affair!!

More from the Furry Affair...

The mascot for the Charleston Animal Society is the adorable
Angie the Ant. Mama and I were happy to take our picture with her...

My father, on the other hand, was much happier taking his picture with
the two pretty women who were helping Angie the Ant...

Baba was still happy to take a picture with his daughter even after
having his picture taken with such pretty, young women...

I left the event happy because my photograph sold and I helped
make a little money for the animals!!!

The Vision...

As most of you already know, Mama was recently in the hospital
but what you don't know is the miracle that occurred. Mama
kept telling me that she was feeling Marilyn's presence with her
in the hospital, especially in her bed. The nurse came to
take Mama down for some tests and when she got up from her
hospital bed a vision of Marilyn appeared. It was like an outer body
experience for Mama and was I fortunate enough to capture it...

Mama was so moved by the whole experience that she had to
go back and read Marilyn's article in Vanity Fair again.

The 25th Anniversary issue of Vanity Fair

Marilyn even beat out Oprah on the news stand!!

I know you all are going to run out and get it...I just
hope they won't be sold out by the time you get there!!!

There never has been or ever will be anyone like
Marilyn Monroe!!!!!
