Family Traditions

This past Christmas we started some new
family traditions.
I want to thank all my family for embracing
this new one and for playing along...
and seeming to enjoy it as well!!
Can you find the six differences??
I hope you all are practicing for next year!!

Emma had a lot of fun playing with Mama
and she found a good use for Mama's Greek nose...

Woody definitely has musical talent!!
While most kids just bang on a set of drums
and make noise. Woody was keeping
a beat and was making music!!!

Raise your hand if you're the cutest little boy around?

Greenville Lights

On Christmas night we went to see the lights in
Greenville. I must say it can not compare to our festival
of lights here in Charleston, which is ranked fifth in the
nation, but it was still a fun thing to do with the family.

I wonder what Uncle Charlie is asking for
from Saint Woody?

Frosty the Woody

Frosty the Uncle Charlie

Okay I had to join in the fun as well!!

Christmas Eve!!

It's Santa Woody...

Or is it Rudolph the red nose Woody...

The gift that keeps on giving...Uncle Charlie's duck tape!!
There are just so many uses for duck tape...

Uncle Charlie had to work to get his present open but it was
worth the effort because it was the perfect gift for him...

More Christmas Eve...

The sweetest sound I heard during the Christmas season was
Emma calling me "Thea Lexis". She has been practicing
my name because I must be her favorite thea. I can say this
because I don't think her Thea Chrissy checks my blog!!

Okay, she loves her Thea Chrissy too!!

We all had a moment of silence as Thea paid tribute
to the late great Michael Jackson...

Holding Woody beats opening presents any day!!

Christmas Eve continues...

Emma is being supportive of her Uncle Barney by being one of his peeps...

Emma looks adorable no matter what style she is wearing...

Woody got the yellow truck and Emma got the pink stroller
but look who was playing with what all night long...
not that there is anything wrong with that, right!?!

And Mama was happy because she had a Marilyn Monroe themed
Christmas...is there any other kind she would say!!

Waiting for Alexis...

Look who was here to greet me on my birthday...it's Woody!!
I couldn't have asked for a better present for my birthday.

Woody, you know the Greeks invented columns...

We all had fun playing on the playground...

Even Mama had a good time!!
This is the closest thing to pole dancing that Mama will ever do...hopefully!!

Waterfront Park

We all really enjoyed the new park and pier that has opened
in Mt. Pleasant. It is a great place to take a walk...

Woody is still enjoying the walk...

Okay, how long is this pier anyways?

Woody had a great idea...he drove back!!

A Marilyn fan already!?!

It was so nice spending time with Woody...and Chrissy too!!

It is never to early to start being a Marilyn fan!!
Woody has excellent taste!!

Woody is so sweet you just want to kiss him all the time...

And hug him too!!

Col. David A. Bornhorst

Recently the Greek Orthodox Church had a special banquet to honor
all the Veterans from our community on the USS Yorktown.
Baba had a good time because he was the youngest Veteran being honored
plus he was the highest ranked officer there!!
