Charleston's Flash Mob

A few weeks ago a Flash Mob of dancers hit the Farmer's Market.
Check out this short video of it and make sure you pay attention when
they pan over to the people watching the Mob.

Pat Conroy at the Citadel

I just love this picture of Baba showing two cadets
a scrapbook filled with old Citadel moments and memories.
It is like the past meeting the present...

Finally a nice family picture...

Pat and I, together forever!!

Now that's more like it...

They are beautiful to watch...

They are not as beautiful to watch...

Spike the Bulldog is taking a break.
Spike knows that Baba can handle entertaining the crowds
all on his own.

This was Baba during the Citadel vs the College of Charleston game.
And it was only five minutes into the game...

School Spirit...

Baba is always ready to go cheer on the team with
props and all...

Baba was the coach for a day...for the alumni game that is.

His team won.
The Boo's hat must have brought him good luck...

At the team dinner we sponsored I made Cameron Wells a medal
in honor of him becoming the all time leading scorer in Citadel history.
He would go on the break two more records before the season ended.
I might be mistaken but I think one of those records Cam broke
must have been Baba's!!

Cam was sweet, he wore the medal all through dinner.

Emma Sings Happy Birthday!!

What a sweet birthday message I received from Emma...

I just love it!!!!

Emma's Birthday!!

In September we went up to celebrate
Emma's 3rd birthday!!
She had her first big girl birthday party.
Make a wish...

Woody doesn't understand why none of the many
presents are for him!?!?

In protest he decided to just hang out
on top of the safety net. Please note that
children are not allowed to climb up onto the net.
But what do you expect, he is Chrissy's child...

It just so happened that the day of
Emma's birthday party was also Baba's birthday.
What better way to spend your birthday so Baba
joined in on the fun...

Not a baby anymore!!

Who's calling you now to wish you a happy birthday...

I can't believe Emma is already three...

Emma is doing her own version of the moon walk...

Even though it was her birthday party,
Emma had to take a minute to update her facebook status.
After all, she is three years old now...kids these days!!!

Talented kids...

Mama and Emma had fun trading silly bands.
I think Emma got the most...

Woody on the other hand wasn't interested in
any silly bands, he just wanted to be silly period!!
That's one way of eating corn...

Emma must take after her Thea Alexis with
those good photography skills...

And Woody is sticking to his musical abilities.
We all know he is very musically talented but who knew
he had a little punk rocker in him...

More fun with Emma...

Emma took a break from playing to take a picture
with her Thea Alexis...

Woody was very curious about blue spinning light
we gave him. Knowing Woody he is trying to figure out
how it works...

Even Socrates came up for Emma's birthday...

One last picture of Emma on her 3rd birthday and
yes little boy in the background Emma is very beautiful...

Historic Charleston

What a nice family picture...

I just love this picture of Maria peaking over the
fence to take a look at the beautiful house and garden...

Yes, the first shots of the Civil War were shot right
here in Charleston.

This picture was take by my father thus why it is
a little cropped off but it was taken outside of our
Greek Orthodox church. The lamp posts have a
lot of meaning to our family. I spent many hours
standing at this lamp post playing with my cousins
and I still do. See...
