Merry Christmas

Our Angels...

Christmas was always a very important holiday to our family. Everyone would gather
at my YiaYia and Papou's house, which was always filled with lots of love. Papou would
always make sure the house was decorated with lots of Christmas decorations for the
grandchildren. Through the years we formed a lot of traditions, ones I hope will
always continue. Every Christmas I decorate their grave. It seems like such a small
thing to do for them in comparison to what they have given me.
I love them so much and we all miss them terribly!

Christmas Eve Traditions

Emma looks so adorable in her Christmas dress...

While we were waiting for Chrissy and Uncle Charlie to make, buy and
wrap their gifts Mama got to spend some time with Woody.

It is our family tradition that we open our gifts Christmas Eve.
Emma doesn't understand why it is taking so long for her
Thea and Papou to be ready.

Woody agrees... it is Christmas Eve and we should be
opening gifts by now. It looks like we will have to wait till
Christmas day to open the gifts.

Still Christmas Eve?

Baba is already to start opening gifts.

Woody agrees and he decided to try the Santa ears on as well.
They look good on you!

It is a tradition that, before we open our gifts, everyone guesses how many
presents are under the tree. Emma was surveying the situation
and was doing a mental count. Is that cheating?

I see an extra special gift under the tree this year...

I hope it is for me!!!

It's Christmas Day...

Santa Woody is ready!

This year Chrissy took a break from passing out the gifts,
so Emma stepped in to fill the spot.
Having little ones around is nice!!

Mama got a new pair of shoes...

Teri opened Emma's gift, a white tiger with big beautiful
blue eyes just like Emma's.

Joy to the World!

Chris really liked Emma's white tiger.
Emma wants to know if you still love her more??

Mama had to reassure Emma that she is loved more than any
stuffed animal...

Blue Christmas...

Baba talked about The Citadel with Woody.
It could be a very good choice for Woody since he
looks so good in the color blue.

Both Emma and Woody were sick. Poor things, they were
still very good babies the whole time. Emma just needed a little
more cuddle time with her mommy.

It had been a full few days and Woody and I were tired...

So was Thea...

She was down for the count.

Thanksgiving!!

The whole family got together for Thanksgiving this year. It is the
time of year where you gather with your loved ones and give thanks.
Collin is giving thanks for his crazy, wonderful, loving family.

Collin got to spend time with his YiaYia...

And his Papou.

It was a time for all of us to catch up on what has been going on in our lives.
I wonder what Jeff and Emma were talking about?

Playtime...

It was so nice to see all three of the babies play and spend time
together. It reminded me of when I was little playing
with my brother and two cousins.

Goodnight...

It was a full Thanksgiving weekend. By the end of it, Woody
had fallen asleep in my arms and I was in heaven!!

Emma was ready to go because the fun was over.

Collin was so tired he had to put his head down
and take a quick nap on the chair.

After four days of everyone being sick, Thea was starting to feel better!!

Father Nicholas Trivelas

This past Sunday was the forty day memorial
of the passing of Father Trivelas.
He was one of the greatest human beings I have
and will ever know. I miss him very much.

His family has started a website to honor his wonderful life.
www.fathernicholasctrivelas.com
What I love about the site is that you hear Father Trivelas
singing. He had a voice that came from heaven. It was
truly like an angel singing.
